In a developing story out of Dallas-Forth Worth (Texas) Airport, 8 TSA employees have been arrested in the theft & resale of employee parking permits for use in employee lots at the DFW airport.
One TSA employee involved in the theft has been charged with either a felony or a misdemeanor (news account vary), a TSA employee who resold the permits is charged with a felony, and six TSA employees who purchased & used the stolen permits are charged with misdemeanors.
Additional arrests are expected. Estimates of the total number of TSA employees involved in the scheme range from 20 to 40. Presently no names or mugshots of those arrested have been released.
The parking permits were among 129 permits that were stolen from an American Eagle office at the DFW Airport last March. A former American Eagle employee has also been arrested.
